The Situation
The bullshit bubble is bursting in all its dreadful magnificence. We’re frozen like rabbits in the headlights, with a scent of apocalypse lingering in the air. And for those witnessing the social and environmental wreckage, if they’re lucky enough to be on the right side of the screen, there’s a heavy sense of helplessness.
The dictatorship of the economic sphere, claiming dominance over all other aspects of life, turns everything into merchandise. It destroys the bonds of solidarity between living beings and their ecosystems, makes us believe everything is interchangeable, and fractures individuals to the point where only alienation remains.
After stepping out of “nature” to commodify it, that alienation is now coming back to haunt us, spreading into every corner of social life, right down to our most intimate spaces.
Consumers have grown disillusioned with corporate “rhetoric-washing”, the empty talk meant to maintain the status quo and keep profits flowing, no matter the cost.

While it’s true that consumers punish deceptive practices by boycotting certain brands, they also know how to recognize and reward those that genuinely commit to real transformation and become part of the solution.
To meet this expectation and thrive, brands must fully embrace their political role and stand as true agents of change, boldly, clearly, and without compromise. Empty talk and superficial gestures are no longer enough.
